Apple Mac 40th Anniversary
It’s been 40 years to the day since 1984 wasn’t like “1984”. On the 24th Of January, Apple Computers Inc introduced Macintosh, an all-in-one PC with its own screen and a floppy drive.
There have been a lot of success stories (and a lot of disasters) over the years, and I highly recommend you go and listen to Upgrade for the best coverage of it. For now, I’m on my third Mac, a MacBook Air M2 (after also owning an M1 Air and a 2009 MacBook Pro), and I’m very happy with this machine.
So here’s to you Macintosh, and another 40 years (without any more butterfly keyboards please!).
